Contract signed to build hospital in Pacasmayo

More than S / 73 million will be invested in its execution, reported Pronis

The National Program of Investments in Health (Pronis) of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) signed a contract with the company IBT LLC, Peru Branch to start the construction of the new Pacasmayo Hospital, La Libertad region.
The general director of Pronis, Lidia Saccatoma, who presided over the act of signing the contract, stated that the bidding process undertaken by the program was carried out with the greatest transparency and complying with the requirements and schedules established by law.

According to Pronis, the renovated facility will be built in an area of approximately 8,798 square meters and with seismic resistant materials.

The architectural design was developed to provide the greatest comfort to patients, establishing adequate environments for emergency services, ultrasound, hospitalization, deliveries, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, pharmacy, and sterilization, among others.

The Pacasmayo Hospital will have modern equipment for good service. Likewise, its personnel will be trained to carry out good hospital management for the benefit of 48,000 inhabitants of this city located in the La Libertad region.

“Moving forward with the construction of this new hospital, with a total investment is 73 million soles, has been a joint work with the Regional Government La Libertad. The expectation was great not only in the province of Pacasmayo but throughout the region”, said the official.
