Hemodialysis Unit Inaugurates in the Pediatric Specialities Hospital

The project for 16 hemodialysis units to be finished later this year represents an investment of $126 m, according to the director of la Caja de Seguro Social (CSS) Guillermo Sáez Llorens during the reinauguration of the 12th hemodialysis unit, in the Pediatric Specialty Hospital.

Panamanian president Ricardo Martinelli, in attendance at the inauguration, highlighted that it is one of the smallest hemodialysis units but it is the most significative because it is specifically geared to treat kids. The president added that he is very honored and it is "very important [to have this hemodialysis unit] because we want to give our children a better quality of life, the life a government must give to its people".
