The Healthcare Complex of Santo Domingo Norte has two new hospitals: Maternity and Children's

Two new hospitals at the CIty of Health Complex

Both the Doctor Reynaldo Almanzar Maternity Hospital and the Doctor Hugo Mendoza Pediatric Hospitals at the City of Health Medical Complex will be inaugurated this week. The investment realized on these two facilities totals $74 million dollars.

Construction and equipment of this project was managed by Carimex, part of IBT Group, which has a contract with the Ministry of Public Health for the constructon of these healthcare facilities.

The city of Health is composed of 4 hospitals. In addition to the new pediatric and maternity facilities, a trauma hospital has been in service for more than two years and an additional General Specialty Hospital will be inaugurated early next year as well.

In addition, the Logistical Support Center of Promese-Cal at the City of Health will also be inaugurated and put into operation next week.
