Alfridomsa donates to the Nuestra Señora del Carmen nursing home

Alfridomsa, committed to economic development and social equality in the Dominican Republic, commemorated the Day of Older Persons (1st of November) by donating to the Nuestra Señora del Carmen nursing home.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (November 1, 2012) – Alfridomsa, committed to economic development and social equality in the Dominican Republic, commemorated the Day of Older Persons (1st of November) by donating to the Nuestra Señora del Carmen nursing home, founded in 1975.

The donation includes utensils, furnishings, orthopedic pillows, adjustable chairs, resting chairs, wheel chairs, ceiling fans, lamps, and other furnishings and goods needed for the wellbeing and comfort of the elderly.

The act was headed by Luis Manuel Sanchez, General Director of Alfridomsa, who was received by the director of the nursing home, Sor Maria Concepcion Casado, as a representative of the Franciscan Sisters, who gave thanks to the company for its solidarity and expressed confidently that the donations will go far towards improving the lives of the elderly at the facility.
