PRONIS and IBT Sign an Agreement to Begin Construction on the New Pacasmayo Hospital

The renovated facility will be built on an area of approximately 8,798 m2 and with materials that are earthquake resistant.  The project will last 540 calendar days (18 months).
The architectural design was developed to provide the greatest degree of comfort to patients while establishing suitable environments for emergency, ultrasound, hospitalization, delivery, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, pharmacy, and sterilization services, among others.
“Getting the construction of this new hospital to move forward, with a total investment of 73 million Peruvian soles, has been a joint effort with the La Libertad Regional Government. The expectations were big not only in the Province of Pacasmayo but in the entire region,” noted the General Coordinator.
Daniel Querub, General Manager of IBT LLC Branch of Peru, likewise said, “We feel lucky to have the opportunity to contribute to making this new hospital a reality, ensuring access to quality health care for all Peruvians.  We have been working for the last eight years to help to build the Peru of the future.”
IBT Group is the main shareholder of the companies that operate the EsSalud, Alberto Barton, and Guillermo Kaelin Hospital Complexes, all of which are operated under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme in Lima.
