Merca Santo Domingo promises to revolutionize the agriculture industry in favor of consumers, producers, and merchants in the Dominican Republic. The large commercial facility will serve as the hub for a new national network of markets throughout the entire country. Merca Santo Domingo will allow producers and merchants in the Dominican Republic to operate in a more sanitary, safer, and larger environment, in addition to providing an increase in customer traffic. The market facilities include: new access roads, parking, cold and dry storage, market stalls, administrative offices, ice factory, and more. Design and construction of market buildings, stalls, and administrative offices was executed by Mercasa.
